In the work The expressions of a suffered body,  I choose the sufferings of the body as tool to evoke the notion of absurdity. I hail from a Christian family. It has inspired me to look at this absurdity of pain in that backdrop. Christianity glorifies the body and its pain. The heavenly figures are wounded. In Christianity, hope is built upon flesh and blood. I was also influenced by those relics, which is embedded with pain. The central idea is the contradictory images of pain as a means of salvation and the reality of pure physical suffering.
